This page sets out the terms for using humepod.org and the Hume Health app (referred to together below as the "Services"), run by Hume Health Corp. Placing an order, setting up an account, or otherwise using the Services means you're agreeing to what's below.

1. Who Can Use This Site

You need to be 18 or older, or have reached the age of majority where you live, to order from humepod.org or open a Hume Health account. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and the Services aren't built with children in mind.

2. Placing an Order

An order is an offer on your part to buy a Hume Pod (plus any add-ons, like the extended warranty) at the price shown. We can decline or cancel orders — for example in cases of suspected fraud, a pricing error, or a stock issue — and you'll be refunded in full if that happens.

Prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise, and can change without advance notice; a price change won't retroactively affect an order you've already placed.

3. Shipping and Returns

4. This Is Not a Medical Device

The Hume Pod is a consumer wellness product meant to help you track body composition trends over time. It is not a medical device and isn't meant to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Figures like body fat percentage, visceral fat rating, and metabolic age are wellness estimates built from bioelectrical impedance sensor data — not a replacement for advice from an actual healthcare provider.

If you have a pacemaker or other implanted medical device, consult your doctor before using the Hume Pod. Don't make medical decisions based solely on data from the device or app.

5. Keeping Your Account Secure

Whatever happens under your Hume Health account is your responsibility, so keep your login details to yourself. If you think someone else has gotten into your account, let us know right away.

6. What You Agree Not to Do

Don't reverse-engineer or tamper with the hardware or software in ways that break applicable law, use the Services to violate anyone's rights, or try to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems.

7. Ownership of the Brand and Content

"Hume Pod," "Hume Health," and related marks belong to Hume Health Corp. The device design, the app, and everything on this site are covered by copyright and related protections, and reproducing them without permission isn't allowed.

8. Warranty and Liability

Outside of the specific warranty described in our Refund & Returns policy, the Services come as-is, without further warranty, to whatever extent the law allows. Hume Health Corp isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages tied to your use of the product or Services, again to the extent the law permits that limitation.

9. Updates to These Terms

We may revise these Terms occasionally. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top changes to reflect it. Using the Services after an update means the new version applies to you.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are interpreted under the consumer and commercial laws applicable where Hume Health Corp operates.
